I'm rubbish with titles.

On Monday I picked up these little goodies from Aldi, as I have heard a lot of good things about their Lacura range and at about £1.50 per product they were a steal! Everyone laughed because the cream is 'anti-wrinkle' but surely waiting until I've actually got the wrinkles to use the product would defeat the object?! Anyway I have used it for the past couple of nights and I am pleased so far. It's got a thin texture but isn't oily and greasy, and it kinda smells like old ladies and soap - but not in an entirely unpleasant way haha! The eye cream doesn't seem to have a scent to it, but you only need the smallest amount for each eye and it's dispensed through a tiny nozzle which means I can't get right in and have a sniff unfortunately. Have you ever tried Aldi's Lacura range? What did you think?
The last glossybox of my subscription arrived last week. Again, it was a bit hit and miss, and I've decided not to renew and try a different beauty box instead. I may review a couple of the products in the box as and when I try them, but from what I've read from other blogs my opinions are pretty much widely shared.
It's been so hot the past couple of weeks and I've been totally paranoid that my deodorant won't do it's job properly!! So I picked up this body spray on offer in Asda for £1 and it smells wonderful, although I must admit it was the packaging that made me go for it in the first place!
On a kind of unrelated note, a week or so ago I won a Facebook competition to win a copy of the latest novel by Guillaume Musso...and I won! I don't think I've ever won anything before haha! I'm looking forward to reading it :)

  1. I'm also 21 and I always look for products to prevent me from getting wrinkles. Just recently a sales assistant told me it isn't good to be using this type of products at our age, cause the skin gets use to the ingredients and as you get older, skin doesn't react the same. You have no idea how freaked out I left the store. I have a Clinique eye cream I wear regularly and also a Chanel Lift Lumiere foundation (also for more mature skin). I have stopped using both at the moment, while I do some more research. So I wanted to share this with you, and you should let me know what you think! Maybe it's all just rubbish! hah :) x

    1. Thank you for the advice! I am definitely being a lot more careful now before buying things! The thought of nothing working on my skin when im 90 scared me haha! xxxx
